Hi again,
I don't quite manage to adjust the drive belt so that it is exactly centered both in front and rear pulley. It seems to me that it gets in contact with the left edge of the front pulley, but if I try to fix this (by using the drive belt adjustment procedure as described in the manual) it touches the right edge of the rear pulley. Both pulleys and the belt are pretty new, I 've only used them for about 2.000 km. Another fact is that the belt screams, I guess because it is slightly inbalanced.
What are your experiences with the belt, anyway? Some guy wrote that they may last for up to 10 years. I bought my bike in '96 (new). 3 years and 22.000 km. later the belt broke in the middle of the town. I had to buy a new belt + both pulleys. (The pulleys were not in good condition, I am sure they would damage the new belt pretty soon).
Well, do you have any comments about adjusting the belt and prevent it form screaming?
Thank you!
